In a flash nine (9) months have come and gone this year.
Yes, it’s October already.
While some spent these months working on different tasks – from studying to building businesses, writing books and a host of other things, others are totally unaware of how much time has gone this year and haven’t done anything meaningful.
Ever since I fell in love with the written word and started writing, I’ve always enjoyed the art. But to be completely honest with you I didn’t just continue in the love affair with writing because I enjoyed it, there are some awesome reasons why I still write.
To unlock any door you must have its key. You must possess the required skills before you can effectively function at any job. So also with success, to attain true success you must know and imbibe some mindset elements.
We all want to do all we need to do. Optimising time usage is a craving for everyone but most people are not happy with how they use their daily 24 hours. There’s always this feeling of regret and bitterness over time wasted.
Growing up I had the privilege of visiting my grandma a couple of times. During that time, if there’s anything I always look forward to on the way to see her it is her endless tales. Their themes limitless (some could even transcend into another and another like the trilogies we read today). She always had a story to tell and I can remember enjoying every one of them.
There are days when you plan and even work towards a goal but end up failing. Plans fail and targets go beyond your reach. On such days, it is how you respond to these failures that determines whether or not you succeed at the end. Continue reading →
